GIFViewer: Jailbreak Tweak lets you view animated GIFs in Photos app

iOS devices may have tons of features, but one of the basic features it lacks is the ability to view gifs, those quirky moving web graphics that were so popular in the 90s and are enjoying popularity all over again.
If you save a gif to your iPhone’s camera roll, you won’t be able to view the animated image in the Photos app, instead it works like a static image.
This can be quite frustrating, which is where a jailbreak tweak called GIFViewer comes to the rescue. As the name suggests, the jailbreak tweak magically enables you to see the animated gif in the Photos app. All you need to do is install the tweak.
GifViewer is available on Cydia for $0.99. Ideally, this functionality should have been part of iOS. If you save gifs to your Camera roll then you may want to purchase this tweak.
