Pebble said it was working to bring new partners and services into its appstore after rolling out the marketplace earlier this year. Today, the company made progress on that promise with the addition of three new high-profile partners, eBay, Evernote, and Time Warner Cable for its smart watch platform.
Pebble owners now can access both their eBay and Evernote accounts directly from the wristwatch device. The Evernote app allows provides a window in a user’s Evernote online account allowing them to quickly view notes, lists, shortcuts, and more. Modifying items like a checklist will sync those changes from the Pebble device to the user’s Evernote account.
The eBay app is equally useful with the ability to view eBay feeds, find new items to buy and add those items to a watch list. The Time Warner app is designed for Intelligent Home users to control their thermostat, lights and other remote-controlled appliances.
Pebble also released its Android app, finally bringing the appstore to its Android users. The Android version took Pebble a ” bit longer than expected”, but now that it is here, it will deliver an experience similar to its iOS app.
Do you own a Pebble? Are you interested in access ing Evernote or eBay on wristwatch device?
